Wow.... what a great weekend..... We had a great day painting the youth room at Calvary Baptist in Cuero. Got to spend some good time with my creative best friend Elaine. She is always there to lend me a hand.....Also am making a new friend in Vicky.... also very creative and a very focused and hard worker.... love it! Makes me miss the old gang that I used to run around with... Rebecca, Patsy, Jan and Diane...
We also had a good group of kids on Sunday Morning and actually throughout the day on Sunday. Remember we started this group with no one. Sunday morning we had 4 boys in Sunday School and most of them spent the day with us. God is good. The painting went well and so did the first youth committee meeting.
The group of kids that spent most of the day with us come from a single parent home with 6 kids. This mom is ill and needs our prayers in several areas. The kids are very smart and fun. They are typical kids.... One boy hanging out with us has had a problem previously with the youth director at this church... I think he is a great kid... just keep this situation in your prayers.
Here is a thought for the day.....

Looks like Phil and I are going to take a seminary course,.... I know that MOM will be so happy and proud. Love you MOM>........
